Job Description
The Counseling Center of Texas is hiring! Work online from anywhere you choose that has a private secure space and a high-speed connection. Through our online capabilities, we make it easy for busy clients to honor their commitment to therapy while also extending our reach across the great state of Texas to many underserved communities. We take care of all the details involved in running a practice such as marketing, billing and collections leaving therapists to do what they do best – treating clients. This is a contract position. Credentialing services, training and benefits are available to full-time staff. Hours are flexible but you must be willing to commit to at least 9 hours of evening and/or weekend hours.
We are a highly specialized firm. We partner with each therapist to help you build your ideal caseload, developing your strengths while providing mentorship and collaboration as needed. Opportunities exist for running groups and/or joining our crisis response team which provides post-incident counseling to first responders and their families, as well as victims of traumatic events.
Responsibilities
We are passionate about what we do, and we provide the infrastructure needed in order for clinicians to provide premium online therapy to a diverse population of clients. You will provide counseling services to clients from a wide variety of backgrounds, so cultural competency is required. We serve adults, adolescents, and children over age 10 by helping them to work through a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and adjustment disorders by providing individual, group, and couples counseling. We are seeking candidates who want to continuously develop their clinical skills while always practicing self-care.
Qualifications
- Must have the legal right to work in the U.S.
- Must be licensed (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD) in the state of Texas.
- This is a contract position. You make your own schedule provided that you commit to at least 9 hours in the evening and/or weekends.
- You have the technology needed to conduct private online video sessions with clients.
